The Kaiam 40 Gbps 1310 nm QSFP+ optical transceiver family consists of a full-duplex, photonic integrated hot-pluggable optical transceiver. It provides a high-speed link at a signaling rate of up to 43.02 Gbps over up to 10 km of single-mode fiber and the integral transmit (TOSA) and receive (ROSA) components.

Kaiam’s 40G platform is directly extensible to the 100G QSFP28 it is bringing to market in 2015.
PLC
Kaiam offers a range of high performance components and modules based on PLC technology. These include a wide variety of optical Multiplexers and Demultiplexers (with and without Variable Optical Attenuators, VOA’s) for use in high channel count DWDM systems.
